Noah Palmer, Artistic Director

Noah Palmer is a native of Baltimore who graduated from New York University with a B.A. in Music and earned a Master’s degree from the Mannes School of Music in Piano. He has worked as the Principal Coach and Accompanist for the Berkshire Opera Festival, Director of the Batenkill Chorale, conductor for Kinderhook’s “Concerts in The Village”, and Music Director for Skidmore College’s Opera Workshop. Noah currently is Artistic Director of Music at Trinity Lenox, an Assistant Conductor at Opera Saratoga, and Assistant Music Director of Albany Pro Musica.

 

Karen Becker, Accompanist

Karen Becker serves as Professor and Department Chair at SUNY Plattsburgh. A Wisconsin native, Becker served as principal keyboard of the Colorado Symphony and as pianist/conductor with the Colorado Children’s Chorale. She has appeared as a soloist and collaborative artist in many concerts in the Northeast, and as a principal coach for the Green Mountain Opera Festivals in Barre and Montpelier. Karen holds degrees from the Eastman School of Music, the Juilliard School, and the University of Wisconsin. She and her husband, Tony Galloro live in Malta with their two dogs.

Potential Candidates

The Board of Directors is always on the search of dynamic, dedicated members, both from the community and the organization, to serve.  Each term is three years, for a maximum of six consecutive years (two consecutive terms). Interested persons should demonstrate any combination of the following: strong ties to the community, technology savvy (organizational applications and software, social media, websites), fundraising, donor relations, and communications.
